Portico Paradise: A Custom Home Built for Indoor-Outdoor Living Near Longmont

Portico Paradise sits in the Portico neighborhood near Longmont, built by Sopris Homes for an active young family who wanted a home that worked as hard outside as it did in. At 6,501 square feet, with five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the home gives that family plenty of room to spread out, while still feeling connected from one end to the other.

The design leans into the idea that indoor and outdoor living should not feel like two separate decisions. Functionality and elegance were treated as equal priorities throughout, rather than trading one off for the other, so the transitions between the home's interior spaces and its outdoor areas stay seamless. The front entry sets that tone before anyone even steps inside, paired with exterior detailing that gives the home a modern, sophisticated presence from the street.

What made this project distinct from our side was the scope. Sopris Homes managed Portico Paradise from land acquisition all the way through design and construction, rather than stepping in partway through an already-defined plan. That full-process involvement let us shape the home around this family's actual lifestyle from the very first decision, not just the finish selections at the end.

The result is a home built specifically for a family in an active stage of life, with enough structure to support daily routines and enough flexibility to adapt as those routines change. It is one of the clearer examples in our portfolio of what a fully custom, start-to-finish build can look like when the builder is involved from the ground up.
